Hopped around and finally read *all* this post -- and, dammit, it was posted in APRIL, so I demand: WTF is part two already?!!? Will be posting a link to this on my (of course!) blog, where I tear the print pearl-clutching future-fearers new ones almost every day with language they don't like. While the people at my publisher were nice folks, the process was mind-boggling -- slow, unresponsive, process vs. market focus, and big decisions made without every telling me, the author. Just finished reading "2011", great book it is. The beauty I think is to really look at all these 70 over ideas and start connecting the dots. I personally am inspired to work on something (like to write a book?). We shall see. Your view on the publishing business is brutally honest. I wonder if you have one for the music industry too.
